πŸ“ Wallace, Nova Scotia • 45.8155, -63.4862
Reflection: This place is my family's cottage. My parents bought the land next to the ocean from a farmer a few years before I was born. When I was a kid we spent entire summers up there swimming, fishing, picking berries, and playing with other kids from Halifax.
Milestone Connection: My wife and I got married on the front porch 25 years ago this month. Her family flew from Korea to attend. We return every summer with our two children.

πŸŒ‰ Macdonald Bridge • 44.6738, -63.5894
Reflection: I'm a Dartmouth person, and all my life I've had intimate knowledge of the two bridges. Even though the MacKay is wider, everyone calls it the "new" bridge and the Macdonald the "old" bridge.
Citizenship & Infrastructure: The bridges are the beating heart of our community. Over 100,000 vehicles cross daily, shaping local transit, housing growth, and provincial debates like toll removals.
