Be in your seat with materials ready when the bell rings. Review the opening prompt on the board immediately.

Focus & Device Routine
Personal phones are silenced and kept in bags or designated docks during instruction unless specifically authorized for an activity.

Respect Ideas & People
Critique arguments, not individuals. Make room for diverse perspectives, step up and step back, and maintain a confidential space.

Care for Shared Space
Take pride in our classroom. Return Chromebooks to numbered slots, clear work areas before dismissal, and respect equipment.

Daily Classroom Routines

  • Entry: Check the board for the day's agenda, take your assigned seat, and start the warm-up prompt.
  • Hallway Passes: One student out at a time using the standard room pass; avoid leaving during direct instruction blocks.
  • Chromebooks: Used for curriculum research, simulations, and project work. Charge fully at home every night.
  • Dismissal: The teacher dismisses the class, not the bell. Ensure your desk area is clean before heading to your next class.
